How Long Does It Take To Recover From A Soft Tissue Injury
Many people are surprised at how long a soft tissue injury takes to heal and wonder why theyre not fully recovered and back to normal two or three weeks later.

When the bleeding occurs into the skin, we develop what is referred to as a hematoma, a collection of blood in the soft tissue. Hematomas will usually heal over time; all that is necessary to help with the healing is application of ice at first, followed by heat. Bleeding can occur into other parts of our body as well.
I would strongly recommend you visit your physician so that a determination can be made as to whether the fluid is in the bursa which is less serious or in the joint, which would be of greater concern. Problems not directly related to an injury or overuse may occur in or around the knee.
- Osteoarthritis may cause knee pain that is worse in the morning and improves during the day. It often develops at the site of a previous injury. Other types of arthritis, such as rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and lupus, also can cause knee pain, swelling, and stiffness.

Strength Balance And Pain Intensity
Pain has a number of sequelae, including an increased likelihood of falling due to musculoskeletal inhibition also known as arthrogenic or reflex inhibition .22;In some cases, the body may react to protect itself from further movement-related harm by interfering with the ability to achieve maximum voluntary muscle contraction after physical injury has occurred.
