If it is truly sciatica it is unlikely to benefit from compression hosetherapy. However, some patients have a mixed picture of “sciatica” and “legpain” from venous insufficiency. Other classic characteristics of venousinsufficiency are pain worse with sitting or standing and improved withambulation.
